Wallingford Boys & Girls Club KidsBreakfast 2012 Fundraising Page!
Thank you for visiting Wallingford Boys & Girls Club's fundraising page for the 2012 KidsBreakfast. If you can't make this inspiring event at the Seattle Sheraton, we hope you will choose to support our kids and programs by being part of this "virtual table."
Each week more than 500 kids walk through the doors of one of our six sites - we have a huge footprint in the North Seattle community! Thanks to the generosity of our Club friends, we are able to provide all of our members with programs that ensure they have a path to success. This includes our free Drop-in program, teen programs & late nights, and five licensed child care centers.
We want to congratulate Wallingford Club's 2012 Youth of the Year, Sabrene Odeh, for being selected to represent the 16,000 members countywide as Boys & Girls Clubs of King County's Youth of the Year. Sabrene (in photo) has an inspiring story of how the Club helped to change the course of her life - taking her from sullen, negative tween to outspoken high school leader. Despite the challenges imposed by the constaints of her strict Palestinian-American family, Sabrene has found a way to shine and channel her energy into building her future. She now dreams about and work towards a future that includes college and a career in the law.
A huge note of gratitude to all our friends and supporters for helping us inspire and enable all youth like Sabrene to be their best. We could not do it without you.
Thank you so much for supporter WBGC's biggest fundraiser of the year, the KidsBreakfast.
