Go Special Olympics Team North Carolina !
I am very excited and honored to have been selected to compete in Unified Golf at the first-ever Special Olympics National Games at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa .  I’m very excited to represent North Carolina at this level! Unified sports pair a Special Olympics athlete with a person who does not have intellectual disabilities but is of equal skill level.  This will be an especially great trip because I will be joined by my Unified Golf partner and my father-in-law to be, Randy Walker. All in all there will be among 3,500 athletes from all 50 states and the District of Columbia who will showcase their athletic talent, July 2-7 and I can’t wait to get there!  

Special Olympics athletes are never required to pay a fee to participate but it will cost approximately $2,000 to send me to Iowa .  I am asking for your support in helping to see my dreams come true.  Your donation to Special Olympics North Carolina will provide for vital items such as travel, uniforms and equipment.  Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
