I've known about CaringBridge for a while, but never needed to use it. That is until last year, when mom had a brain aneurism while my parents were out of town. It turned out that they found 5 aneurisms, and one of them had burst. Someone at the hospital told us about CaringBridge, and we set it up almost immediately. It was really amazing to see so many people posting messages of support for mom, and mom even got to see some of the messages when she was well enough! When I saw that CaringBridge was a 501c3 organization, I thought I would to a blogathon to raise money for them, because they helped us keep everyone updated on mom's progress when she was in the hospital. Mom is fine now, (thank God!) On July 30th, starting at 6 AM PDT, I'll be posting on http://lifes-adventures.net every half hour for 24 hours, (which means I'll finish at 6 AM PDT on July 31st.)
