Hi to all! Meet Fred, the latest addition to our basset family. Fred is 8 years old and came to me as a foster early last year. After a few days getting settled I found out he had some bad tummy trouble! The support of the Rescue was overwhelming. I immediately took him to the vet and as we worked through his troubles more vet costs were incurred. Nothing was ever mentioned or thought of regarding possibly cutting off funding for him, etc. He is doing fine now with the proper diet and meds which was only possible due to funding from the Rescue. I have since adopted Fred since we realized he had indeed found his forever home with me and his basset brother and sister. If it wasn't for GABR chances are he would have had no hope. He would have been sent to a shelter where funds are so limited or worse: left to die in the same garage he had been spending the last 6 months in. Donate for Fred and the other bassets that will be saved this year and future years with the help of GABR!! Anything you could donate would be a blessing! Keep in mind it is all tax deductible.
