Thank you for visiting the Team Harper fundraising page!
Harper Lily is 9, can you believe it? Please help us support the ASGGC. Last year we raised over $1,000... hopefully we'll be able to raise even more this year. We walk in hopes that the Residential Project will be there for Harper when she needs it. We also walk in honor of Harper's Papa, Darrell Harper. He was her number one fan and supporter. If you join us for the walk wear your maize and blue in honor of Papa Darrell (#41 Go Blue!)
Please read the information regarding the walk below. The Residential Project is vital for families like ours. Any donation will help the cause.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

The Autism Support Group of Genesee County (ASGGC) is hosting it's 2011 'Autism Walk' on Saturday, September 10th, 10:00 a.m. at BiCentennial Park in Grand Blanc, MI. (approx. 1/2 mi. w. of Dort Highway and I75 on Grand Blanc Rd, exit #109 off I75) Registration is FREE. There will be musical entertainment, Bounce Houses, Star Wars Characters, Lego Robotics, live animals, train rides, Clowns and Characters, lots of kid's activities, games, and entertainment, great food & drink, raffles, and prizes! We will have Darth Vader leading the Walk!! This is a fun casual walk, not a race. Come join us for a fun day to help a great cause! All proceeds go toward our Residential Project for people living with Autism.
Why we walk: Autism now affects 1 out of every 93 children born. Proceeds from this event will go toward the development of a Residential Community to provide for the care, training and activities that will be necessary for those living with Autism. Our Residential Project is based on the successful Bittersweet Farm model.
Our Residential Project Mission: To provide residential, employment, activities and general life supports for persons with autism so that they can lead involved and valued lives and achieve their maximum level of functioning and independence. To provide families with peace of mind, answering the question, "what happens after I'm gone?" with "a happy, full, productive life."
