The Special Olympics of the New River Valley hold a place near and dear to my heart.  Having volunteered at many events with my Fraternity, Phi Sigma Kappa, I have had the chance to see the joy these athletes enjoy when they are competing.  The smallest gestures and actions make the biggest difference to them.  It has truly made me a better person to work with this exeptional group.

I am running in the Color Me Rad race on October 28th to help raise awareness for this great organization.  The NRV Special Olympics really does make a difference in the community and this is a small way to thank them for the work they do.
