Forward Face is an affiliated organization of the National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction (NFFR). I have been doing volunteer work with both for the past year. As many of you know, recent surgeries have resulted in my own facial difference. As I struggled to understand "why me", I was fortunate enough to find myself led to NFFR and Forward Face. No longer did I question "why me" because I realized I was not alone. My own facial difference became a badge of honor as I try to help others from newborns to older people who have had trauma accidents or cancer.
