We love the mountains and cannot imagine life if that pleasure was taken away from us. Many people with disabilities need special help to enjoy what so many of us take for granted. That is why we support Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra at Mammoth Mountain! DSES is a volunteer based non-profit that teaches more than 2,000 adaptive sports lessons per year. They also offer scholarships to anyone that needs it. This adds up to over $22,000 each year.

DSES believes the freedom and exhilaration of outdoor challenges changes lives. No one should be left behind simply because of a disability!

Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra is bringing FUNdraising onto the slopes of Mammoth Mountain for a Slide-A-Thon on Sunday, April 5th! We'll be sliding on skis, snowboards or any piece of adaptive equipment while we raise money and awareness for people with disabilities. We have joined with 3 of our Mammoth co-workers as a Team and we have committed to raising at least $1,000, which will be used for scholarships, adaptive equipment and volunteer training.
