Hello Friends and Family.

Thank you for visiting my  Fundraising Page as I prepare  to run my second Boston Marathon  on April 16th 2012 and my initial fundraiser to help fight Neurofibromotosis. As Many of you know our closet friend Kathy's grandaughter Audrey has been diagnosed with NF1. Audrey is a Stoneham resident and is four years old.

NF1 is a neurological disorder that causes tumors to form on the nerves anywhere in or on the body at any time. People with NF often struggle with learning disabilities and seizures. NF affects three times as many people as muscular dystrophy and cystic fibrosis combined. The implications of NF1 range from mild to severe and there is no way to predict the prognosis for a specific patient.

Audrey is doing great and is a happy young girl who loves to laugh sing and dance.               She is followed closely by great Doctors at Childrens  Hospital.

Raising money for NF has become an important part of my life . We appreciate your support as I take on the Boston Marathon and this fundraising challenge in hopes of changing the life of Audrey and the lives of other NF patients. I am honored and inspired to "RUN FOR AUDREY". I will do my very best.
