Big Brothers Big Sisters has been the nation's preeminent youth-service mentoring organization for over a century. BBBS of Athens County has been making a difference in the lives of area youth since 1986. In 2007, the agency served 350 children from Athens and Vinton Counties.

We need your help to ensure BBBS programming continues. Bowl for Kids' Sake is an annual campaign to benefit Athens and Vinton County children who need a special friend--a Big Brother or Big Sister--who can give them additional attention and guidance. As a non-profit organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters is dependent upon the generosity of the public in order to provide services for children. Bowl for Kids' Sake is our primary fundraiser and provides one fourth of our annual budget.
