The Cancer Support Community (CSC) of Greater Ann Arbor (formerly The Wellness Community of Southeast Michigan), opened our doors in 2007 in response to a lack of support services for people affected by cancer in our community. The mission of the Cancer Support Community is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. Services offered by the CSC include support groups, educational workshops and presentation, and healthy lifestyle classes like cooking, yoga, tai chi and meditation. All services offered by CSC are free of charge and are open to anyone affected by cancer - including cancer patients (regardless of the stages of their disease), family members, children and caregivers.
