Zachary Lee's Fundraising Page
Thank you to all who have pledged their support to this effort. I ran the Marathon on November 1st in 3:59:30, and was able to raise $68,000 - surpassing my goal and providing the necessary funds to go forth with the building of the Sunbeam Village. Because of your support, sixty orphaned children in the city of Laibin will have families and a home in the Zilana M. Lee Sunbeam Village.

Because of China’s "one child per family" policy, millions of baby girls, including my nine-year-old sister, have been abandoned on the streets of China.
I will be running in the New York City Marathon this November 1st, in an effort to raise $60,000 to build a new and revolutionary form of care facility to help save the lives of dozens of orphaned children who would otherwise have no hope for their future.
I made a short video from when I traveled to China last year that explores the plight of Chinese orphans and my connection to the issue. It also gives a closer look into the project I am raising money for - Sunbeam Village.
I am using this video as a means of asking all those who want to help me in this effort to sponsor me in the NYC Marathon this November 1st, as I run 26.2 miles to raise the necessary $60,000 it takes to build a Sunbeam Village in Laibin, China.
Please take out 10 minutes of your time to view the movie here before making any decisions on your donation:
