Zella Anderson's Fundraising Page
Greetings!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
As you know, the Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance (CPAA) is near and dear to my heart. WoofStock 2010, CPAA's hugely successful event for people and their dogs, will be held on Sunday, September 19 at Riverfront Park in Harrisburg. Anyone who has a dog or loves dogs won't want to miss it! The Grateful Dog Walk kicks off WoofStock on City Island at 10 am and is the biggest annual fundraiser for CPAA's "De-Sex in the City" spay/neuter program. Through "De-Sex in the City," CPAA provides no and low cost spay/neuter surgeries to dogs and cats throughout Central Pennsylvania. Spaying and neutering is the proactive way to end pet overpopulation and put an end to the killing of dogs and cats that goes on every day in shelters all across this country. You see, if we can prevent the animals from being born through spaying and neutering, we can prevent them from being killed. It's that simple. But, we need your help, and every dollar donated helps! As little as $25 will provide a neuter surgery for a rescued cat, and as little as $50 will provide a neuter surgery for a rescued dog. And, if you're feeling incredibly generous, $100 will provide two spay surgeries for rescued cats, or one spay surgery for a rescued dog.
They say that animals can't speak for themselves, but in reality, they speak quite clearly. You only have to look into their eyes and listen with your heart. Thank you for listening.
