Zoe Walker's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fund-raising page!
My name is Zoe and I am 11 years old. Over the summer I was saving my baby sitting money for an iPod touch. One night before I went to bed I was praying to God to help me spend my money wisely and God spoke to me and told me that children around the world needed my help. So I continued praying that God would show me "how?" A few days later the World Vision catalog came in the mail. I was inspired by how you could purchase small to large farm animals to help needy families around the world.
For Example, you could purchase:
2 chickens - $25
1 goat - $75, pair of goats $150
1 sheep- $125
10 ducks - $30
1 pig - $195
1 dairy cow - $500
28 farm animals - $2,000
28 Farm animals can save 10 families from hunger!
This is a special opportunity to help children and families around the world who are in desperate need. Please join with me by giving gifts that bring life-changing help and hope. Your support will demonstrate compassion and offer hope to a poor child, family, or village.
Did you know...?
- Nearly 30,000 children die every day, most from hunger or preventable diseases.
- A child dies every 15 seconds due to water-related illnesses.
- More than 1 billion children suffer a lack of proper nutrition, safe drinking water, decent sanitation facilities, health-care services, shelter, education and information.
World Vision, a Christian relief and development organization, works in nearly 100 countries to help children and families tackle the causes of poverty. With the partnership of people like us, they are making a real and lasting difference for millions of people -- and that's why I wholeheartedly support their work.
When you donate to the Animal and Agriculture Fund, your gift will help the following:
Your gift will provide hardworking families with livestock or farming tools that can put food on the table and savings in their pockets. Along with the animals and farming supplies, recipients will be trained in proper care and management of their resources, as well as how to market their wares -- things like dairy products, eggs, fruits, and vegetables.
This is a wonderful way to express your support for the world's poor. Thanks for joining me in this effort.
