Dear Family and Friends,

As many of you know, our sons, Gavin and Logan, were both diagnosed with a devastating disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).  Duchenne, is the most common and lethal genetic disorder for children.  DMD causes young boys to experience progressive muscle weakness, as their muscle cells "explode” and die…they don’t regenerate. 

Right now, Gavin and Logan lead relatively normal lives.  However, this will drastically change around the age of 10.  They will begin to experience difficulty in walking and simple tasks, such as holding a fork or even breathing will be an effort.  Right now, there is no cure for this disease. 

But there is hope!  We have partnered with CureDuchenne, a non-profit organization that is working diligently to achieve their mission ... to cure Duchenne muscular dystrophy.  They are aggressively funding cutting edge research that finally brings hope to families with Duchenne children.
