I finished the ING New York City marathon at 4 hours 38 minutes & 35 seconds. I hit 'The Wall' briefly between miles 17 & 18. I then managed to make it to a wedding in Goa, India with a flight from JFK straight after the finish. I survived.

I enjoyed it thoroughly & thank everybody for their help, their support & their donations to the National Stroke Association. I am now preparing for the London marathon in April.

I am running the NY Marathon on November 1st 2009 as part of the National Stroke Association NYC Marathon Team in memory of the grandfather who passed away after suffering a stroke.
