Generation of Promise is a Detroit-based non profit organization founded in 1987 to overcome regional polarization. By creating an opportunity for metropolitan youth to engage in leadership development and cultural exploration, Generation of Promise builds the cultural competence critical to effective leadership. The mission of Generation of Promise is to build a community of young leaders who celebrate diversity and are dedicated to the elimination of discrimination in metropolitan Detroit.
