Genesis Club is participating in the Falmouth Road Race in support of mental health. We take great pride in our team of members, staff and friends that run in this prestigious race.
The funds raised by Team Genesis directly support The Genesis Wellness Project.
Its has been shown that individuals with a mental illness have a 25 year earlier mortality rate than the general public.
Genesis Club is addressing these shocking statics by encouraging our members to address their overall wellness. Our Wellness Project consists of Structured Exercise, Nutrition, Tobacco Cessation and participating in community walks and runs. The Genesis Club believes this model of Wellness for those with mental illness is indeed saving lives.
