Dear Friends,

I am preparing to ride the Courage Classic for my third time.  I want to extend my deepest thanks to all who have assisted in my fundraising by contributing to this worthy cause the past two years. 

As ever, it is difficult for me to solicit contributions, but I believe in the cause.  Furthermore, I understand that due to our current economy many of us have had to review our charitable giving.  Sadly the work of the Child Abuse Intervention Department (CAID) at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital continues to be needed regardless of the economy.  This year the needs of the CAID are likely to grow as government funding will more likely than not be diminishing.  As a result, funding through charitable giving takes on greater importance.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  Giving through this site is safe, secure and convenient.  One hundred percent of all contributions go to the CAID.  By giving you become part of the effort to change the outcome for a child who has faced trauma through physical and/or sexual abuse.  Any contribution will be appreciated and be put to good use.  Thank you on the part of all involved in making this fundraising opportunity possible.  My first year I raised $800+ and last year I raised $1400+.  I hope you will help me raise even more this year.  Thank you for aiding me in my fundraising efforts.
