Gilda's Comedy Walk at the Detroit Zoo
We've made it simple for you to register as a single participant and/or raise funds for Gilda's Comedy Walk at the Detroit Zoo. This special event, held on October 3, 2009, supports Gilda's Club Metro Detroit, a non-profit community that provides emotional and social support for anyone affected by cancer.
Registration Information

- Adult: $40
- Child (ages 2-12): $15
- Child under 2: Free
Registration fee includes t-shirt, all day zoo admission, parking, food, entertainment, and children’s activities.
You may register without paying upfront costs. When prompted to select registration type, choose option that includes Fundraising Registration Fee. Next, set up your fundraising page and begin soliciting donations online and offline. To participate on walk day, you must have raised at least the total of fees required. For example, if you are registering two adults ($30 each) and one child ($10 each), you’ll need to raise $70. Of course, we encourage you to get pledges beyond the registration fees to help support our program.

Our mission is to create welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer -- men, women, teens and children -- along with their families and friends.
Our innovative program is an essential complement to medical care, providing networking and support groups, workshops, education and social activities.
