Gilda's Comedy Walk at the Detroit Zoo

We've made it simple for you to register as a single participant and/or raise funds for Gilda's Comedy Walk at the Detroit Zoo. This special event to be held on September 20, 2008, supports Gilda's Club Metro Detroit, a non-profit community that provides emotional and social support for anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. You can register here or onsite at 8 a.m. the day of the event.

Pledge Tips

 -- Many employers match charitable contributions made by their employees. Talk with your human resources department to see if they have such a program.  Request a matching gift form and send it completed and signed to us. We'll do the rest.

-- Form a team (five or more people) and encourage each member to collect pledges and qualify for terrific incentive prizes.

Our mission is to create welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer -- men, women, teens and children -- along with their families and friends.

Our innovative program is an essential complement to medical care, providing networking and support groups, workshops, education and social activities.
