How It Works

1. GlobalGiving vets projects around the world using a rigorous due diligence review. Project leaders post their causes and details about what they need, giving you an inside look at the project’s unique needs and work being done.
2. To create a fundraising page in support of a GlobalGiving project, search projects (including country text), and pick the one that best matches your interests and passions.
3. We send your tax-deductible donation and those made to your page directly to GlobalGiving, who combines your contribution with the giving of other generous folks to fund the project.
4. Donations to GlobalGiving projects are subject to a higher fee of 15% -- the same 15% fee as they are on GlobalGiving. Donors have the option to cover the fees so that 100% of the donation goes directly to the project. Find out how this works
