Thank you for visiting my page! I read about this run on active.com today while looking for races to participate in and thought what a great idea, I can start right out my front door anytime I want on November 8th! It's also exciting because you get to chose your own charity to donate to. 

Due to the recent passing of a very close family friend with Alzheimer's and a grandmother currently suffering from it I felt this was a great time for a race for a reputable association to donate to that is dedicated to Alzheimer's cures and research.

I'm going to run the 7 mile loop around Donner Lake on Sunday starting at the North end at 9am. This is dedicated to Marilynn Gorman, Steve Skeen and everyone who has been affected by Alzheimer's. 

Unfortunately I just read about this event today (four days before the event!) but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway!
