I have always wanted to run a marathon.  I think that the Arizona heat has gotten to me because I have decided to run the Rock'n'Roll 1/2 marathon, 13 miles of all running!!  I need your help to complete this journey.  Please help support the charity that I am working with while running this marathon.  All the money that I raise will go directly to helping Joshua, a cancer patient at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Arizona.  By donating what you can you will be helping Joshua receive the treatment he needs.

Keep checking into my site to see my progress on my journey to run 13 miles!  As of now I am about half way to my 13 mile mark, but that means that I am getting closer, especially since I started this journey only being able to run about a minute at a time.  I am amazed at my progress so far and know that come January I will be able to make my honor patient, Joshua, proud.  Joshua is an amazing 8 year old who is battling a horrible disease, acute lymphocytic leukemia.  I have had the opportunity to meet Joshua and he is definately a fighter and is not letting this disease keep him from doing what any 8 year old is doing. 

I just found out that Joshua created a Holiday card that will be sold to benefit the Phoenix Children's Hospital.  If you have a moment, please check out his card at http://www.phoenixchildrens.com/about/press-media/Current/holiday-artists.pdf.  Joshua's card is the one on blue paper with the snowman.  There is also more of a story for Joshua, he is such an amazing boy.
