On Sunday June 28, My son and I walked  in the Gift of Life Walk in honoring of my Organ Donor. I got kinda discourage in the begin because my son and I could not find our way which caused us to be late for the walk. We did alot of walking before we got there but we made it . When every one was approaching the finish line, I was at the starting line. I ask my son was he ready to walk  and he replied, we did enough walking and I laughed and said I have to walk now for my Organ donor so he began to sit down and I began to walk and then when I turned back, he was right behind me and I thought it would be cool to be the last to walk but when  I  got to the finish line at 12: 15 there were still some in back of me and that included my son. Everyone else that walked was already gone home. I did not get to see to many people there but I did get some pictures snap.It was  fun and it was a very nice and beautiful day for a walk. As my son and I walked, we had a very interesting conversation about the walk and that was I shared with him that if it had not been for my Organ donor, I might have been sick from the machine or I would have been dead. So then I asked him what would you my youngest son do if I had died and his  responded  was not  very nice so, I am grateful to have a Second chance of life to have more time to share about death and teaching my son how to more be grateful and after we passed up a team that was also walking with us, some kids had on a t-shirt that read something like, there are over 850 kids on home dailysis and that really touched him to let him know how bless he really is. So after the Walk, we hung around for awhile to hear some of the entertainment and ate some of the refreshments and water and then we lefted doing more walking   right to Michagan and Wacker fora boat ride to Lake Michagan and wow, what a beautiful City we live in. We had nevered been on a boat before   I will have pictures to show real soon. To all those that wanted to sponsor me but could'nt thank you.
