The 6th annual Golden Gallop 5K/10K/Kid’s Fun Run will be held on Sunday, November 6th, 2011. The 10K/5K course is a challenging USATF certified route that starts and finishes near Splash Aquatic Park in Golden, Colorado.

The race will feature a long sleeved orange technical shirt from Greenlayer Sports and chip timing by Colorado Race Timing with mats at the start and the finish.

Stick around after the race for post party refreshments and entertainment for the entire family. In previous years the race has attracted close to 1,000 participants!

Proceeds from the 2011 Golden Gallop will benefit the Golden Schools Foundation (GSF). GSF is a non-profit founded in 2010 by parents and community members with the vision of encouraging a high level of performance and accountability in Golden, CO articulation area schools including Kyffin, Mitchell, Pleasant View, Shelton, Ralston and Welchester Elementary Schools, Bell Middle School and Golden High School.
