Pee Pee and the Golden Plunger (AKA Greg Townsend) made his debut at the 2008 Polar Plunge.  Pee Pee had such a great time raising money to support Special Olympics Indiana and  jumping into the frigid waters of the lake at Versailles State Park, that he formed the Society of Golden Plungers - a following of past Polar Plungers benefiting the Special Olympic delegation of Ripley, Ohio and Dearborn counties.  Come check us out on the 21st, we will be the first to take the plunge. 

What I love about Special Olympics is that one sees the potential, instead of the limitation, of individuals with disabilities.  We, the delegation of Ripley, Ohio and Dearborn counties have witnessed the true Olympian spirit shine in our athletes.  I am amazed by the ability of some of our athletes and inspired by the sheer courage and determination of others.
