It's back! The 3rd Annual GSA for Safe Schools Walk/Run/Eat will be held on Sunday, October 11th, 2009 at the Goodman Community Center.
This year's Walk/Run/Eat will feature a 5K walk and a 5K run. And don't forget about the "eat" portion - Queen Anne's Catering will once again be donating a tasty picnic-style lunch for all event participants. We encourage you to register online here (it's free and "green"!), but we will have paper registration forms that you can download on our website in September if you prefer.
Registration fees are the same as they were last year: $25 for adults, $20 for youth (ages 12 to 17), and $15 for children (ages 12 and under). If you register before October 3rd, you will receive $5 off each registration. Please note: Registering before October 3rd will guarantee that you get your preferred t-shirt size.

WHEN - Sunday, October 11th, 2009. Registration at 9:30AM, Walk/Run at 11:00AM.
WHO - You, your friends, your family...anyone who shares GSA for Safe Schools vision of educational systems where all students thrive regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. This event is open to walkers and runners of all abilities.
When you register, you will have the option of setting up a fundraising page to raise money for GSA for Safe Schools. We greatly appreciate any and all fundraising, but fundraising is NOT required to participate in the Walk/Run/Eat. This is a "fun run", so prizes will not be awarded for race finishers. However, prizes will be given to the biggest team, the team with the best name/theme, the team that raises the most money and the team with the best costume.
