Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  I'm participating in this year's  "Walk for the Animals" to benefit the Humane Society of Berks County (HSBC). 

Did you know that your local Humane Society receives NO FUNDING from the Humane Society of the United States?  Your local shelter relies completely on donations from people like you and me. 

This past year, the HSBC was able to find homes for EVERY healthy animal that came through its doors!  Although there were a few extremely ill animals that had to be put down, there were no animals that were put down due to space availability.  This accomplishment can be attributed to the hard work of the HSBC staff and through donations from us!

I know times are tough.  And that just makes your donation even more essential to the HSBC.  Won't you please consider giving to this worthwhile cause?  Any amount you can spare is so very much appreciated!
