We have decided to take this walk to raise money for cancer awareness in memory of my cousin/friend Doreen Pepin Durling who lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer on 10/04/2004.  This will be the fourth annual walk in memory of someone who touched many lives.  Dee will continue to be sadly missed but with your contribution her name can be remembered as part of something much bigger.   This year we will also be walking in memory of my cousins Ronnie Pepin and Maria Caraballo who have both lost their battles with Brain Cancer.  Ronnie lost his battle back in 1989 and Maria lost her battle on 10/28/2007. We will also be walking in honor of my aunt Barbara Spencer who was recently diagnosed w/ Lung Cancer.  As you can see Cancer has touched our family many times and continues to show its face year after year.  We need your help along with many others to both raise funds to search for a cure and also raise awareness.  With your donation UMass Memorial Cancer Center will be able to continue their search for a cure of all forms of Cancer. Your donation means more than you know and will benefit all of those who continue their fight against Cancer.
