Welcome to the Green Bean Fund Raising Page!
Thank you for visiting the official fundraising page for our West Street building effort - affectionately known as the "Green Bean"! It is "Green" because we plan to incorporate green, earth friendly, energy efficient building practices in the construction. The "Bean" part is because the house structure itself was donated by LL Bean and moved to it's current site in late 2008. We hope to complete this house in 2010 so Mikki Cote, the selected Habitat homeowner, and her son Eli can move in to their first home.
We hope you will join Habitat in this effort. Please consider making a donation on this webpage. Perhaps you could create your own fundraising page and plan a fundraising event for the Green Bean! Join or form a team of people all working to make this house come to life. Whatever your interests are, there is a way for you to get involved and make a difference in this great effort.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts. Making a donation only takes a few minutes, and a confirmation is sent to you immediately.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
We really appreciate your help...every little bit makes a difference!
