Housing Assistance Corp. is a private non profit agency dedicated to providing and advocating for affordable and workforce housing on Cape Cod and the islands.  The agency runs homeless shelters, homelessness prevention programs, administers Section 8 certificates, is the developer of properties, runs programs for first time home buyers, provides foreclosure counseling weatherizes homes for Fuel Assistance clients, and runs other programs fostering self-sufficiency.

Since 1974, HAC has helped over 130,000 neighbors in need. Last year alone, HAC helped 10,114 households through emergency shletering, programs, and housing referrals. 

The mission of Housing Assistance Corporation is to deliver safe and stable housing on Cape Cod and the Islands and to energize the communities served to support the creation of homes that people can afford.
