Hi!!   I'm Larry--3rd baseman & Rover for the Boston Renegades. I have Retinitis Pigmentosa, an eye disease characterized by poor perpheral and central vision due to retinal problems.  Although I have some functional vision, its not enough to play some sports that fully sighted individuals play such as football and basketball. By playing Beep Baseball, I have the opportunity to participate in a game that's highly competitive and it gives me the opportunity to compete with others who experience the same or similar eye condition as myself.

By participating in Beep Baseball, I have had the opportunity to do things that I never thought possible.  When I first went to Beep Baseball practice, I never thought I could hit a ball that was thrown by a pitcher.  Now, after 2 years of practice, not only can I hit a ball thrown by someone else, but I can do it with confidence!!!

Beep Baseball provides athletes who are visually impaired with the chance to realize their athletic and competitive potential.  The sport also serves as a confidence-builder for the athletes who participate as well.  For this reason, we need your help in allowing the Renegades to continue playing in such a sport.
