Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page!
I will be running in honor of my best friend, Mike Fox, and in honor of patients and families who have become my friends in their fights against cancers like his. Mike still inspires me to make friends as he did through his amazing generosity. Through his zest for life he got me to go jogging with him, and he later convinced me that I could run the Boston Marathon. Running this race has given me new inspiration as other friends have shared their generosity by contributing money and encouragement. As I run I will remember Mike and his determination to live well despite cancer, and I will think of families and friends who have shared similar tough journeys. Please contribute generously to honor your friends and families and to help find cures for the friends and family of others.
Both MGH and I appreciate your donation. Any amount will make a difference. Ask your employer about gift-matching programs to double your contribution. Forward this page to generous-spirited friends and family, as I have!. Over 95% of donations will go directly to research to fight cancers and leukemias that affect children. Cures for kids help adults too.
You can follow our fundraising progress at this site. On race day 4/19 you can also follow my steps at http://bostonmarathon.com/
Step by step and donation by donation let's do what we can to help families and friends!
Please help to find cures through the Massachusetts General Hospital Children's Cancer and Leukemia Research Fund.
Thanks for your support!!
