Sandy Barry is celebrating her 30th anniversary with Salavation Army and Marshall House this month. Her commitment to, and passion for, the South Marshall Street neighborhood has been unwavering since she arrived there in 1981. 

A celebration of Sandy's Marshall House anniversary is in the works and she has asked that donations in her honor be made to Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity's "House of Faith," one of the 16 townhomes currently being built on South Marshall Street. 

The Hartford Habitat House of Faith will bring together sponsoring interfaith communities to provide the volunteer and financial support needed to build this home.  Additionally, these communities will participate in opportunities, both on and off the worksite, designed to foster open interfaith dialogue and understanding.
