Join the effort to provide help for today, hope for tomorrow
at the 2012 Team Hope 5K Run/Walk for Huntington’s Disease in Erie, PA!

On Site registration begins at 8:00 AM
5K will start at 9:00 AM

Cost to register:

14 and over: $20 ($25 after 8/27)

6-13: $10 ($14 after 8/27)

Under 6: FREE

All paid registrants receive a Team Hope T-shirt and will have the chance to win a KIndle Fire!!

There will be a 5k race and walk, and also a shorter distance for walkers (3K) who don't want to do the full 5k. We will be having Chinese auctions,clowns for the children and more! We'll also be providing breakfast!

Together, we'll share a morning of camaraderie, compassion, fun, helpful information, and hope! Please bring the whole family (and some lawn chairs too!)! Fundraising is encouraged and greatly appreciated.

Why We Walk:
We walk to raise funds to support the mission of HDSA, the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting Huntington’s Disease. HDSA provides vital support and services to improve the lives of those affected by HD, offers resources for HD families and supports research to find a cure for HD.

HD is a devastating, hereditary, degenerative brain disorder for which there is no effective treatment or cure. HD is a debilitating disease which slowly diminishes the affected individual's ability to walk, talk and reason. Eventually the person must rely upon others for their care. Huntington's Disease profoundly affects the lives of entire families -- emotionally, socially and economically. We walk in support of the hundreds of HD families right here in our own community.
