Hey All!

First and foremost a big THANK YOU to all those who voted in my Head Shaving Campaign!!!  It was a close call but in the end I did INDEED shave my head!!!  You can watch the video of the head shaving at www.youtube.com/user/chelseamikail

All of your contributions have meant SO much to me and of course to Student's Partnership Worldwide- they make a HUGE difference, no matter how small the donation!  

Unfortunately, in light of recent events in my personal life, I no longer see participating in a nine-month program in Tanzania as a wise choice for my life right now.  I have met some one who I hope will be a part of my life for a very long time, and to leave her for 9 months so shortly after we got together would not be fair to her or, frankly, to myself.  I do intend to participate in some sort of volunteer-abroad program in the future, hopefully in Tanzania, as I feel such a strong pull to that part of the world, but for now I am moving to France, where my girlfriend lives, and I am going to pursue the magic of being in love, something that I am feeling for the first time ever!  So I hope you all will wish me luck in this endeavor!

Again, your contributions have meant SO much to me, it's so refreshing to see how much people DO care about important issues!  SPW is already making good use of your donations!!!  Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for all of your help!
