Burrito would be considered to most a "lap dog." Unfortunately, he lived the first years of his life outside. The family recently brought him to their local shelter because they could not afford to take care of him anymore. Paws4Ever arrived and temperment tested him. He passed with flying colors. Burrito was covered in fleas, ticks and when we arrived back at the adoption center, we found out he was a "high positive" for heartworms. He is currently going through his treatment thanks to your donations to the heartworm campaign. Please consider donating today in honor of others like Burrito.
Our goal for the Heartworm Treatment and Prevention campaign is to raise $8,625. This would provide treatment for up to 25 animals, preventative medicines for the dogs at the Adoption Center, and a one month’s supply of heartworm prevention medication to every dog adopted. Additionally, Paws4Ever will provide information to every adopting family about the available heartworm prevention medications and their importance.
Thank you for considering donating to this cause. Your donations will help us continue to pull heartworm positive animals from the local shelters. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
