Hello Everyone!

A lot of people have been asking me how I like my new job.  I LOVE it!

The next question that they usually ask is how they can help.

Well, you asked...

There are a lot of ways that you can help Kosair Children's Hospital.  We have volunteer opportunities for the smallest child to the mature adult.  We have opportunities that take a few minutes and very little effort such as writing a letter to your legislature to tell them that child healthcare matters!  Remember, kids can't vote so they do not carry a lot of political clout.

You can also support me through my page.  Asthma is the number one cause of inpatient admissions to Kosair Children's Hospital.  I lost my mother to asthma 10 years ago.  With proper diagnosis, education and training provided by the hospital, many of our kids with asthma are able to manage their health and lead a normal life.  In fact, several of our kids have done so well that they have not been back to the hospital for years.

It doesn't matter if you volunteer, donate, or simply forward this to others to create awareness for our hospital.

It just matters that you care about the kids in your family and the kids in your community to help.
