It's finally here...another "Fun-filled Family Day"...
HMEA's 9th Annual Independence 5K Walk/Run
SUNDAY, May 23, 2010 - 11:00AM (rain or shine)

Help make a difference in the lives of the 2,400 children and adults with disabilities supported by HMEA -           
JOIN US AT THIS FUNDRAISING EVENT!

This event is FUN for the whole family...

• a 'mildly competitive' 5K Road Race on a USATF certified course
• a 'pretty good work out' walk (distance is flexible, up to 5K)
• just to make sure the kids don't feel left out, a Kids Fun Run (featuring 3 age groupings)

AND, that's not all...

While supplies last ALL participants will receive a FREE tee shirt. ALL walkers who complete the course AND raise funds will receive a gift (while supplies last)!  And, there's FREE parking, FREE entertainment, FREE refreshments, FREE Kid's Corner activities for...kids of all ages! There is also a terrific and affordable "Dream Raffle" and a FREE Kids Raffle with unbelievable prizes. Plus prizes will be awarded to the first three male and female finishers in the road race in each age category , as well as the Overall Male and Overall Female runners .
