This years event was another wonderful success for the Missing GRACE Foundation. And, we owe it to all of our teams, participants, committee and volunteers. Words cannot begin to express our heartfelt and sincere gratitude to all who took part in the second annual Gracie's Hope and Hearts Run. It is because of your support we were able to have such a successful event, and we will be forever grateful.
The past year has brought about some wonderful and exciting ventures in helping fulfill our mission to provide resources and support to the grieving families in our communities. We look forward to seeing what God has in store for us over the next year as we hope to only grow further and secure more relationships with the area hospitals to provide our programs to all who need it.
Thank you again for attending and supporting the second annual Gracie's Hope and Hearts Run. You will never know just how much your support has meant to us.
****P.S. For all my angel baby families, you are what this event is all about. I need a favor from you. I ask that you send me your contact information along with your babies name and dates so that I can have this on file. You can just shoot me a short email to kentuckyrun@hopeandheartsrun.org.
With Grace,
Eric and Jennifer Lamphere
About Missing GRACE Foundation
Missing GRACE Foundation was founded in 2002 by the McVicars after their daughter, Grace, was stillborn. Since then, Missing GRACE has been providing resources and support for about 5000 families nationwide each year that have experienced pregnancy loss, infant loss, infertility, or adoption. The Foundation advocates for comprehensive, patient-focused prenatal care for all women. In addition, Missing GRACE has resources available for families in their journey of grief including a hospital Crisis Care program, taking keepsake photographs, creating memorial videos, arranging funerals, setting up counseling, and organizing support groups. To learn more visit: www.MissingGRACE.org.
In the Paducah area we have established the first ever support group designated for pregnancy and infant loss. The GRACE Support Group meets the 3rd Monday of every month at the facilitator's home. For more information about attending our support group please contact Jennifer Lamphere at kentuckyrun@hopeandheartsrun.org. Missing GRACE will soon be the provider of support for St. Francis Medical Center serving patients who experience a perinatal loss, through MGF’s Crisis Care Team program. Volunteers are needed for this support program. If you or anyone you know has suffered a pregnancy or infant loss, or have a passion for helping others in need and would like more info on the Crisis Care Team, contact Jennifer Lamphere.
When you donate to sponsor a Team or Individual that is walking or running at a Hope & Hearts event, you help MGF in continuing to fulfill its mission to serve families in need.
