The 4th Annual Kaila & Grace’s Hope & Hearts 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2009 at COON RAPIDS DAM REGIONAL PARK, MN. This is the signature fundraising event for Missing GRACE Foundation (MGF) & by choosing one of the 3 options below you can help us reach our goal to raise $140,000 this year! Last year we had close to 1000 in attendance & raised over $70,000. Join us for this very special and important event where we come together to honor our babies, raise awareness about pregnancy loss & promote stillbirth prevention. 1. Create your own online fundraising page or join a team to fundraise together Click the 'Get Started Button' to create your own page or join a team! Fundraising dollars for Top Team, Top Individual & Top Youth Fundraiser (17 & younger) can be submitted online through FirstGiving, Active, the MGF website or by mail. For funds to be counted in the individual & team totals, donations must be received by MGF no later than 11:59pm Fri., Sept.11th. Winners will be determined at midnight the eve of the run (Sept.12th). Firstgiving offline donation totals will be accepted on an honor system. Donations can be turned in on event day, however, if they are not noted on the person's personal Firstgiving offline totals, they will just be noted in the GRACE Newsletter, but not contribute to the person's top fundraising totals which determines our winners.

Donations are tax-deductible & donors receive a tax receipt from MGF through the Firstgiving site.
We are grateful for the generous community support that has helped MGF provide services and assistance to thousands of families across the globe. MGF provides support locally in MN and offers resources nationally and internationally. Services include: 24-hour Hospital Crisis Care services, ongoing grief support, subsequent pregnancy support (a home-fetal monitoring program!), and resources for infertility and adoption issues. MGF works with MN hospitals directly, providing the newly bereaved parents with the following services: a GRACE Care Basket filled with comforting and helpful resources, a "Making Memories" photography and videography session, arrangements for burial or cremation- finding low or no cost providers to ease the financial burden on the parents, and follow up home visits.
