The Second Annual Payton's Hope & Hearts 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, October 10th, 2009 at Audubon Park in Garland, Texas. This is a signature fundraising event for Missing GRACE Foundation (MGF) & you can help us reach our goal by choosing one of the 3 options below.  Last year we had over 100 in attendance.  Join us in October for this very special and important event where we come together to honor our babies, raise awareness about pregnancy loss and promote stillbirth prevention.

1. Create your own online fundraising page or join a team to fundraise together
   
2. Click on the "Donate" button (top right) to make a general contribution
   
3. Contribute to a friend’s page. Search for their page by clicking on “View all Fundraisers/Teams." Send a note to others asking them to visit your friend's site to pledge their support too.

Donations are tax-deductible & donors will receive a tax receipt from MGF.

The goal for the 2nd Annual Payton’s Hope & Hearts Run/Walk is to raise $20,000.  Funds will be used to bring needed support to the Texas community. MGF provides support at the local level, nationally and internationally. Services include: 24-hour Hospital Crisis Care services, ongoing grief support, subsequent pregnancy support, a home-fetal monitoring program, and resources for infertility and adoption issues. MGF also offers the national GRACE Conference for families and health care professionals.  To learn more visit: www.MissingGRACE.org.

Eric and Angie Brown from Royse City, TX were recipients of MGF's support when their daughter, Payton, was stillborn full-term in March 2006. In turn, they chose to help give back to raise funds for MGF in honor of Payton so that other parents who experience a loss can also receive the needed resources and support. This event is raising awareness so that no family will have to do without the support and resources they need to work through these challenges. It is also about changing the face of the future and making sure every mother has comprehensive, patient-focused prenatal care enabling for positive outcomes in their pregnancies.

When you donate to sponsor a Team or Individual that is walking or running at a Hope & Hearts event, you help MGF in continuing to fulfill its mission to serve families in need.

EVENT DAY- October 10th:  Registration opens at 7:30am. Registration is $25 for adults and $8 for kids prior to 10/08/09; $30/$10 for Onsite registration.  The Fee Includes: Event participation, refreshments, ability to participate in the raffle & silent auction, and “Hearts to Heaven Balloon Release,”  along with your free T-shirt (if registered by September 10th, 2009).
