My personal message:
Hello and thank you for visiting the Hemangiopericytoma's (HPC) donation page.
HPCs are a rare and frustrating tumor that unfortunately have a high rate of reoccurrence and risk of metastasizing.  As all of us that are affected by HPCs can attest there is endless frustration in trying to find treatment information on HPCs or even Doctors with any experience treating HPC tumors.

This frustration became even more apparent with the formation of HPC discussion group.  As fellow HPCers added their bios and looked for the best first steps, next steps, etc. it became blatantly obvious we needed to do something to help find the best methods for treating HPC tumors.
The money we raise will go to help fund our inaugural research grant through the National Brain Tumor Society that will be specific to HPC tumors.   A great side effect of this research is there are many key characteristics of HPC tumors such as their intense vascularity that would be very beneficial in menigioma and sarcoma research as well.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate as well!
