The Humane Society of Knox County (HSKC) invites you to join us for the 2012 Whisker Walk and Family Fun Day.

Anyone may participate in this event. You may walk your well- behaved family dog on a leash or arrange to walk a shelter dog from HSKC. To walk a shelter dog, please make arrangements in advance with the shelter facility  by calling 594-2200. An adult must accompany children under 15. Please, no bicycles, skateboards or in-line skates. Dogs must be current on rabies vaccines.

WHEN & WHERE?
The event is on Saturday, September 15, 2012, rain or shine at Harbor Park, Rockland.

Registration begins at 9:30am and the walk will start promptly at 10:30am. Our walk route will take participants and their dogs through beautiful downtown Rockland before returning to Harbor Park for fun and festivities.

The pet walk is a pledge-driven event. Collect as many pledges as you can from friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. 

Prizes are offered to the top people who raise the most pledge money (only money turned in at the time of the event will be eligible for prizes) in adult and kids categories.

Pre-Register by September 2 to ensure a Whisker Walk T-shirt in desired size.  You can still register the day of the event.
