Fundraising Walk for the Animals

8:30am – 12:00 Noon

Al Lopez Park in Tampa
4810 North Himes Avenue

Collect donations to help the Humane Society of Tampa Bay provide shelter, food, spay/neuter services and medical care for the thousands of animals that are relinquished to
our shelter each year

Registration, demonstrations, sponsor/vendors open at 8:30am
One mile walk begins at 10:00am
Pet costume contest immediately after the walk
Activities will continue until 12 noon

• Form a “PACK” or come as an individual walker
• Collect donations from co-workers, friends and family
• Enjoy the demonstrations
• Doggie arts and crafts
• Go shopping at our many sponsor/vendor booths
• Pet costume contests, pet/owner look alike contest and silly dog tricks contest- Prizes awarded New: best themed attire (2008 is a luau)
• Bring the entire family (including your four legged friends)
• Children’s egg hunt and dog treat hunt

• The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is a non-profit organization that has been offering shelter to homeless animals since 1929.
• We do not receive any Federal or State Tax dollars, assistance from the United Way or Humane Society of the United States; instead we rely solely on donations from generous individuals and concerned groups.
