Join us this Saturday on the Walkway Over the Hudson for the 21st Annual Hudson Valley AIDS Walk! $23K+ raised so far!
Join us on the Walkway Over the Hudson on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10:00 am for this 2.5-mile walk across the Hudson to raise funds for HVCS' HIV/AIDS programs and services! Register on the Poughkeepsie side of the Walkway, cross the mighty Hudson on the highest and longest pedestrian bridge in the world, and enjoy food, music and fun while supporting a fantastic cause.
Every walker will receive a waterbottle and red ribbon to show you care about HIV/AIDS. Raise more than $25 to receive a free Hudson Valley AIDS Walk T-shirt! Join our Gold Crown Club by raising more than $250 - you'll get to wear a gold crown or tiara while you walk the Walkway, and you'll be entered into a special drawing to win great prizes!
Organize a team of walkers to make it more fun! Gather your group of friends, family or co-workers and challenge yourselves with a fundraising goal.
The rate of new HIV infections increased in some areas of the Hudson Valley in 2012. That's not the direction we want the epidemic to go: join your friends and neighbors to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS. By raising funds today, you help us to create a Hudson Valley without AIDS tomorrow. Plus, by coming out to the Walkway on May 18th you're showing your neighbors living with HIV that you're standing up to stigma and discrimination. Stand proud, walk local first, and have a great day!
