This is my buddy Joseph St. Jean. I started working with Joe as his in-home therapist in 2004 after he received the diagnosis of Autism. Since then the St. Jean family has had a special place in my heart and always will. I've joined together with his mom, Leslie St. Jean, to form Huge Possibilities Inc. It is a non-profit organization focused on families new to the diagnosis of Autism.
The rate of autism has been on a steady rise over the last 10 years. Today, 1 in 150 children will be diagnosed with Autism. Every 20 seconds a family receives this life changing and devastating diagnosis. Autism is more prevalent than Pediatric Diabetes, Cancer and Aids combined. Even with these startling facts, researchers, scientists and medical professionals have been unable to determine a definite cause or provide a treatment plan for the child. Parents are left with the sole responsibility to research and develop a plan on their own.
Our mission is to teach parents and caregivers about the HUGE possibilities for their child diagnosed on the Autism spectrum. We give them the tools and resources to start treatment immediately and to focus on the important steps of creating a brighter future for their family.
We want to meet with families as soon after the diagnosis as possible. We will walk them through a checklist to help them get their parent led treatment plan underway. We will also match them with autism resource centers or other support groups in their area. Basically we want to be their "stepping stone" and work with as many autism related organizations as possible to help families in a HUGE way.

All funds raised will be used to produce 300 Ready-Set Kits! These kits will be DONATED to the families! One kit includes the Ready-Set Communicate System, The Ready-Set Focus Package and the Ready-Set Discover box.
