UPDATE: We will meet at Hunter Park on Saturday morning at 9:45 for the 1mile fun run. Look for the signs saying, "Hunter's Hooligans." Wear your race day T-shirt, and any orange accessories. We have purchased lots of orange things, bandanas, jewelry etc. So if you don't have any orange, or just want some more ... We have PLENTY!! We will walk as a team for our hero, Hunter. Look forward to seeing you there, and Thank you again for supporting The Autism Center of Tulsa.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am raising money for The Autism Center of Tulsa. They are a great organization that helps my family and others like mine. They have family fun nights, workshops and do alot of other great things for us. Through this page you can join my team and make donations.
I am forming a team and taking donations for the 3rd Annual Ready...Set...Run! 5k/Fun Run on Saturday, May 9th. There will be a 5K race starting at 8 am and a 1 mile Fun Run (walk) starting at 10:00 a.m. After the events, there will be a post race party (including entertainment from Radio Disney, inflatables, face painting, and balloon artists), Awards ceremony, door prize drawing, and team awards and trophies.
Registration for the 5K and the 1 mile Fun run is $20. This includes a race day T-shirt and race packet. You can register using this website. Donating through the website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Or if you would like to send a check make it payable to: Autism Center of Tulsa and mail it to 2513 S. 17th Street, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
My team name will be Hunter's Hooligans! And since my favorite color is orange, I am hoping that along with your race day T-shirt, you will wear orange accessories. That way our team can be easily distinguished. On race day, look for my friends and family holding up signs designating where our team will meet.
If you have any questions, you can contact my mom Kelly at biffle04@windstream.net or my cousin, Kacie at cozbeys@cox.net.
Make sure and check back closer to race day for any updates!!!
About Hunter: I am nine years old and in the 3rd grade at Arrowhead Elementary. Some of my favorite things to do are picking up sticks, taking out the trash, helping with the laundry, riding my bike, being outside, and playing with my cousins.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate and help me with my goal!
