Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO) is a private non-profit organization dedicated to improving the availabilty and quality of health care in developing countries through the training and education of local health care providers. With over 80 active training projects around the world today, HVO is recognized as a global leader in the development and implementation of educational programs designed to empower health care providers in developing countries.
We've made it simple for you to raise funds for HVO. You may use this tool to raise funds for your upcoming volunteer assignment or for a particular project such as sending educational materials to a site overseas. If you have a project you want to raise funds for, contact the HVO office at 202-296-0928 and we will get you started.
Getting started is easy
It only takes a few minutes to create your Fundraising Page:
- Click the Get Started button
- Choose the "Event" that pertains to you
- Personalize the text and the photo on your Online Fundraising Page to express your connection with HVO and your purpose.
- Send the link out to your friends, family, colleagues - anyone you think will help you reach your goal.
All donations raised through this site will be sent directly to HVO. Don't forget to tell all your potential donors that all contributions are tax-deductible. All donors will receive a thank you letter for their files.
