We are thrilled to announce Team Fearless, the ICA Marathon Program for the 2010 Boston Marathon! Thanks to our partnership with John Hancock, the ICA has been given the opportunity to race, for the first time ever, in support of the museum's mission, valuable programs, and resources.
As one of the nation's premier contemporary art museums, the ICA is always striving to be one step ahead, and the mission of the ICA is to share the pleasures of reflection, inspiration, provocation, and imagination that contemporary art offers through public access to art, artists, and the creative process. Most especially in these challenging times, the ICA embodies an optimistic perspective that culture and creativity are critical to a healthy individual, a strong economy, and a just society. We believe an opportunity such as the Boston Marathon will be instrumental in ensuring the museum's success in years to come.
